New Variety From Mexico
Reprinted from "Crown Jewels of the Wire", February 2006, page 17

Bill Ostrander is the proud owner of this pony in depression glass green. He says that Dale and Art Huber found a dozen or so of them in Mexico.

The insulator is unlisted, both in color and embossing. It's a CD 106.4 embossed with a logo of an intertwined "M" and "V". A same marking is found on some CD 106's that are also embossed with the name Ericsson.

Mexican insulators continue to grow in popularity, in part due to their outstanding color varieties. CD 106 styles alone are found in dark green, yellow green, green blackglass, milky aqua, dark cornflower blue, root beer amber, yellow olive green... and now, depression glass green.
